Post am Rochus.

city cornerstone and new working environments

Containing offices and a shopping mall, this building is located on the lively Rochusmarkt in Vienna and benefits not only from perfect transport connections, but also from being seen as a quiet but nevertheless established cornerstone in the cityscape. This is due to its facades made of precast concrete elements, which integrate the horizontal and vertical structure of a listed post office building into the new building, as well as the public ground floor zone with shopping mall that establishes a connection to the park behind it.

An outstanding feature of Post am Rochus is the range of innovative office workplaces it offers - flexible office landscapes, activity based working and clean desk policy - which very consistently caters for the latest developments in new working environments with impressive implementation. An all encompassing lighting concept and works of art by renowned Austrian artists* enter into dialogue with the architecture of this elegant building, which has already won several architecture prizes.
